Is the blind spot sticker (angles morts) mandatory on vehicles over 3.5 tons in France?
Yes, since January 1, 2021 this has been in effect including motorhomes. Three stickers are required on each vehicle, two on each side on the cab and one from the rear of the vehicle. There are regulated instructions on how to stick these. You can find the instructions in apply instructions under this product.
The magnetic stickers are also available in a set of three with 2 magnetic stickers and 1 regular sticker at discount price.
If you don't hava a steel driver's cab then you can also order plain decals.
We also have a regular set of three stickers if you wish at an advantageous price for RVs that are not magnetic.
Caution!!! Like any magnetic sticker, the back of the sticker contains iron particles and may stain. Remove it from your motorhome when you don't need it. If you are staying in France for a long term, remove it regularly and polish the surface. Clean the surface before applying the magnetic sticker so that you do not cause small scratches.
Adhesive instructions for applying Angles morts sticker.
Following instructions, you can apply angles morts stickers as France requires. The enlarged version of the examples below can be found here.
– Back: hang the sticker between 0.5 meters and 1.5 meters from the ground. Preferably on the right side. This way it can be easily seen by cyclists and pedestrians. This is the blind spot side.
– Right side: Hang the sticker at the same height as the back side between 0.9 meters and 1.5 meters from the ground. Here the sticker may be stuck maximum 1 meter measured from the front.
– Left side: Hang the sticker at the same height as the back side and the right side between 0.9 meters and 1.5 meters from the ground. Here the same applies as the right side and the sticker may also be placed at most 1 meter from the front.
How will my order be shipped?
We make sure your products are carefully packed. Depending on the chosen product, it will be packed in a reinforced envelope or shipping tube. We always choose the most efficient and environmentally friendly way to package your product. Products that can be sent in an envelope can consist of different parts. For example, if you have ordered a large sticker with a cool text or quote, we may have folded it precisely where there is no text so that it can still be sent by envelope. This way we do our part for the environment so that less packaging goes to waste.
Notice! When shipping outside the EU, any customs charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
What is the delivery time?
Delivery time varies by product. Stickers (including text stickers and stickers in 1 or 2 colors) ordered by Sunday 10pm will ship on Tuesday, stickers ordered by Thursday 10pm will ship on Friday. Orders must be placed before these deadlines to qualify for shipping on the specified days.
For all other products and full color stickers, please allow a week for the production process. After shipment, it will take 3-5 business days for your package to be delivered to your home or chosen address. Please note that we are not responsible for any delays the shipping may incur with the package supplier. However, we strive to give you the best possible service and are ready to assist you with any questions or problems with you delivery.
